About

Hello and welcome to Naked Brownie! My name is Catherine and here is where I share all my healthy-living adventures. This blog is all about inspiring you to get a positive outlook on life and making the most of every day by staying healthy and happy. I believe in embracing a healthy lifestyle without restrictive diets or giving up all the yummy foods we love. As a foodie, I do my best to experiment with wholesome, natural ingredients and lots of fruits and vegetables  in order to create deliciously healthy recipes that make me feel good.

On this blog you’ll find scrumptious, healthy and easy to make recipes. The ingredients I use can pretty much be found anywhere from your local market, supermarket to any health store. All the recipes on this blog are healthy and delicious and most of them are vegetarian, sugar and gluten free. Whether you are a domestic goddess or you can barely fry an egg, I can guarantee you’ll be able to cook pretty  much everything I share here. Pinky promise! :)

We all have hectic schedules nowadays and the zillion culinary temptations make it nearly impossible to have a healthy lifestyle. I’m not perfect either, but I know how important it is to have a balanced diet. Having been diagnosed with severe gastroesophageal reflux disease over 10 years ago, I’ve been struggling to lead a healthy and happy life myself. As you might guess, my diet had always been the main issue and finding a balance has been such a challenge! Doctor appointments and medication didn’t do the job, so I’ve decided to take the matter into my own hands. This is when I started to do a lot of research and experiment in the kitchen. And guess what? After just six months of starting a balanced diet based on fruit, veggies, nuts and good fats, I started to feel amazing.

I’ll be honest with you, because the moment I started this blog I decided to keep it real. Nobody’s perfect. My lifestyle is still not 100% healthy but that’s not the point. The point is to be kind to your own body, to eat foods that are good for you and to listen to what your body tells you because no one knows better. No change is easy and changing your entire diet is definitely a big challenge. But hold in there. Don’t be too hard on yourself. Keep trying. Ask for help. Share your experience and don’t give up. After all, we all want the same thing – to live a healthy, happy life – and a balanced diet is the first and most important step in achieving it.

Thanks so much for being here. Have a look around and share your thoughts and experiences in the comment section.

Love,

Catherine
